Ako zanietená filmofilka kombinovaná s notorickou sklerotičkou som samozrejme zabudla, že sa 11. januára odovzdávajú v anjelskom meste Zlaté glóbusy. Musela som na to natrafiť absolútnym nedopatrením a cítiť sa tak nadmieru zahanbená, ešteže len sama pred sebou. Po novom si však dovolím sypať popol na hlavu iba dve vety, a tak radšej prejdem rovno k veci.
Keď som očkom preletela zoznam nominovaných v jednotlivých kategóriách, trošku sa mi zakrútila hlava. Do stavu neznesiteľnej úzkosti ma privádzalo aj to, že som 60% ponúkaného už videla (na moje pomery a distribúciu na Slovensku viac ako priemerné číslo). Prejavila som však rešpekt a z úcty k svojmu egu som neskryla svoje tajné tipy za žiadne zadné vrátka mojej mysle. Nedalo sa proste.
Možno som minulý rok bola iba príliš precitlivelá a zhovievavá. Hoci som sa na filmy začala pozerať trošku inými očami, ružové okuliare som si na nos rozhodne nenasadila a svoje užívateľské (ne)uspokojenie sa už nebránim dať bez ostychu najavo (netreba sa báť toho, čo si ostatní o mojom názore pomyslia, ale o tom potom). A možno je to naozaj iba tým, že nominácie tentoraz pre mňa neboli iba dvojminútovým trailerom a päťriadkovým popisom. Každopádne v prípade niektorých kategórií by som nechcela byť v koži novinárov z Asociácie zahraničných novinárov v Hollywoode. A hlavne neviem, prečo si nasekali tvorcovia toľko chrumkavých filmov k záveru roka.
Nad róbami herečiek a roztečeným mejkapom mám v úmysle slovne onanovať neskôr, preto rovno k veci.

As a passionate movie lover suffering from sclerosis I almost forgot, that on 11th of January are Golden Globes Awards held in Los Angeles. I had to find out this fact by total accident and feel absolutely ashamed about it, thank goodness just in front of myself. But since I have new mental rules from now on, I will save myself from self-punishing after these two sentences and I will continue straight to the point.
When I had a quick brief look on the nominations in concrete categories, I have to admit that it shooked my head a bit. I became very anxious, which was propavly caused by the fact, that I have seen 70% of the titles (according to my conditions and distribution in Slovakia it is more than an average number). But I have proven my respect and in difference to my ego I decided not to hide my secret tips even in the deepest and darkest part of my head.
Maybe I was just too sentimental and permissive last year. The truth is, that I started to watch films with different optics, but I haven´t put a pink glasses on for sure and I´m no longer affraid to show my dissatisfaction in quite expressive way (people shouldn´t be affraid of others opinions on their thoughts, but that´s a different story). And maybe it is really just because of the fact, that this time the nominations were more familiar to me than just a two minutes of trailer and five sentences of content description. Anyway, in case of some categories, I really wouldn´t like to be in the skin of journalists from Hollywood Foreign Press Association. And moreover, I honestly do not understand, why the filmmakers stuffed all the crunching movies in the end of the year.
I have in plan to wank over the make up and gowns of actresses later, so lets move to the point.

No dobre, je to jediný film ktorý som videla zo všetkých nominovaných. A aj keď som prvé minúty mala poruchy sústredenia a úspech režisérovi pripisovala len vďaka zachyteniu dospievania v reálnom čase, pri záverečných titulkoch som túžila po pokračovaní a cítila sa previnilo a nedospelo.
Ok, in fact it is the only movie I have seen from all of the nominations. Even I had some serious issues with focus and I thought that the only reason of great success of the movie is realtime adolescence, but during the closing credits I wanted to see the “to be continued” formula nad I felt ashamed and youthful.

Birdman bude jedným z najlepších filmov nadchádzajúcich dní. Hlavne preto, že režisérom je jeden z mojej svätej mexicko/španielskej trojice (Cuarón, Inarritu, Almodovar). A ja sa už neviem dočkať.
Birdman is going to be one of the best movies of upcoming days. Mainly because of the fact, that the director is one of mine mexican/spanish godhead (Cuaron, Inarritu, Almodovar). And I really cannot wait for the premiere.

Ok, maybe I expected this a little bit as well even I haven´t seen the movie yet. I´m a affraid a bit to watch it, because I want to avoid falling in depression and gloom from the look in the mirror of our society.
